8 year old Tinker for sale - I am selling my 8-year-old Tinker gelding with the pedigree: Sensei Itachi (sire) and Tasha Runaway (dam). Two characteristics immediately catch the eye: his stately size (height: 160cm) and his special color. He is a super sweet, people-oriented cuddly giant who immediately wins over every heart.
The gelding is compatible with the herd. He grew up in an open stable and lives in a box with me at night, but is otherwise out in the paddock and pasture all day. An open stable would be the best thing for him, but if you have a similar concept to mine, then he will also feel comfortable there.
He walks well on the lunge line and on the double lunge line. He enjoys groundwork and work in hand and has already learned light dressage movements such as leg yields and shoulder-in. He has been broken in, but with larger gaps in between, which sometimes leads to him bucking. We would be happy to discuss his bucking behavior in person if you are interested.
I am incredibly sad to have to sell this lovely, talented gelding, but unfortunately I don't see any prospects for him at my riding school due to his naughtiness. Here he would have several changes of rider every day and also beginners who sometimes stab him in the back. He especially needs one or two caregivers who can offer him attention and security. They should also be experienced riders. We can also imagine him as a carriage horse.
He has already had several osteopathic and chiropractic treatments, but these were only minor loosenings and never anything wild. He has also been checked by a vet and there are no findings.
Unfortunately, we cannot offer a test ride as he needs a lot of confidence first. However, if you are interested, you are welcome to come and visit us and work with him on the ground.
