Beautiful black mare - Due to equestrian abandonment: Very heavy heartedly I am looking for a loving home for my 3 year old Noriker mare where she will be fostered in the future.
PSSM1 N/N (test available)
Vaccinated and gel dewormed (selective and chemical). Teeth have been checked. Regularly presented to the farrier.
She is in an open stable in a mixed herd and is accordingly well socialized.
Meggy is an extremely sweet and trusting horse who has never had anything bad happen to her.
So far she has been worked with appropriately for her age and can: * be tethered at the grooming area * fly spray and fly mask * hosing down or showering completely * soften on pressure * lead with halter and cavesson * leading at a distance (beginning to lunge) at a walk and trot * wear bridle * rein aids left, right and back with bridle and cavesson * hindquarters soft * walking over soft poles * ground tying * Wearing a western saddle at a walk * Farrier, regular bare hoof care every 6-7 weeks. She has excellent hooves and perfect conformation.
Still very expandable is going for a walk, there she is still quite excited, but goes basically alone away from the stable.
The last time she drove a trailer was when she came to me as a weanling. This went completely without problems, but has not been practiced since then.
Currently I estimate her to be 1.64 m, but she is clearly overbuilt and still growing.
