The reins are used and much too good to just lie around; need some leather grease. The leather strap on one buckle has come off; I have attached a cable tie there; this is more of a visual issue and works. If you don't like it, you can certainly have your saddler attach a strap. Magnets are sewn into the tabs at the end of the reins so that they can be used open or closed.
