Great family horse - It is with a heavy heart that we are selling our 16-year-old mare Saphira. She is very well-behaved and fearless in handling and riding. She knows tractors, excavators and trucks. She is also used to dogs. She is super sweet in the grooming area and loves to be groomed and cuddled by small children. Giving hooves, washing up and touching everywhere is no problem at all. On the track with children, she is more relaxed and easy to handle. Small jumps are great fun for her. She also enjoys ground work and free work. She is diligent and willing to learn in dressage work, but sometimes she tests herself to see if she really has to work. She prefers to go out in the field where she shows a brisk walk. She walks reliably in all 3 gaits in the field. She does not buck or mount. She is also relaxed during fright training. She is very friendly with other horses. She had an AKU at the beginning of this year, which did not reveal anything conspicuous. Unfortunately, there has been a diagnosis since November, as she had a small hoof relapse in both summer and fall. However, this was treated immediately and after 2 weeks Saphira was walking great again and is still rideable and able to bear weight. X-rays are available for inspection. A current blood count has just been carried out and is normal (pictures and findings can be viewed on request). Saphira wears front shoes with leather inserts, with which she currently runs very well. She has been regularly wormed and osteopathically treated. Saphira can only be out in the paddock for hours at a time or with a feed brake. She gets doses of hay. This is also the reason why we are unfortunately giving Saphira away, as our open stable keeping with 24/7 hay is not good for her and she cannot go out into the paddocks permanently in summer. If you have any questions, please contact us via WhatsApp or call us. We are looking for a place where she feels comfortable and has loving people by her side. We would be happy to send you more videos and arrange a visit at any time.
