Open stable place for gelding - As one member of our small private stable community is unfortunately moving out in the middle/end of April, we are looking for a suitable fourth member who is also interested in joint activities with the horse, such as training, walks, riding out, etc. We are active in the leisure sector. We support each other with help and advice as well as equipment... The herd should not exceed 4 horses. Horses are 8, 10 and 16 years old, from 145 to 160 cm About the open stable: The stable is located in the middle of Zepernick, about 10 minutes walk from the great extensive riding area around Hobrechtsfelde in the Barnim Nature Park. Here you can ride for hours on marked bridleways to Schönower Heide or even further. The path to the riding area is along the road, but our horses and horses from the neighboring riding facility also master this. Otherwise we practise together... The next S-Bahn station Zepernick or S-Bahn station Röntgental (one stop to Berlin-Buch) are within walking distance in about 10 minutes. -The stable has a large paddock and a sufficient number of boxes (littered with straw) so that each horse has its own box, which is always open so that the horses can decide freely whether they want to sleep inside or outside -additional feeding with muesli or similar (provided by the horse owner) if desired, takes place every morning and/or evening in the respective box -hay is provided in sufficient quantities at the feeding places in the morning and evening, no 24/7 hay feeding -there is a fenced round pen and a large natural riding/exercise area -Equipment for training can be stored dry -The grounds include two adjoining meadows where the horses can graze by the hour as long as the season allows and after planned grazing and mutual agreement -mucking out is done daily by the operator (but you are also welcome to fill a wheelbarrow) -small, clean and dry tack room with cupboards and light (nice and cool in summer and never below 5 degrees in winter, but can also be heated with a small gas stove) -Space separate from the tack room for feed and blankets etc. available -Sitting area in the yard, where you are welcome to linger or have a barbecue together to chat or just watch the horses -Electricity currently only via solar, electricity for the vet and blacksmith is therefore available from the neighboring stable -a farm cat that keeps things tidy -Hay is obtained from the neighboring large Zepernick riding stable -There is no riding hall and no sand riding arena! (It may be possible to rent the riding arenas or the indoor arena in the neighboring large riding stable, approx. 5 minutes' walk away. However, the rider must clarify this himself. We ourselves have no need). -free choice of vet, trainer and farrier -Yard is locked, but access for authorized persons is possible at any time, no opening hours Which pony or horse is welcome? -low-ranking to middle-ranking, as we already have a very confident herd leader -breed does not matter, except for shettis, unfortunately no mares possible, but please no stallions either -preferably unshod or only shod at the front -socially compatible with horses and humans -fence-proof, as we are in the middle of the village, there are also paddocks with mares within sight How should the horse owners be? -be interested in a long-term stable for a stable herd -people with active horses who also enjoy spending time with their horse and not just parking them -open in conversation, no blasphemy, constructive and appropriate criticism is of course always possible and welcome :-) -Riding style doesn't matter, the main thing is that the horse likes it
