Search end place for pensioner - Hello horse person!
Due to a pasture accident my 19 year old, approx 176cm stck. Pensioner become. About 4 months ago, he overdid it a bit on the pasture and pulled a muscle tear on the right rear. Due to already existing findings of spat and asthma and in cooperation with veterinary clinic and second opinion of a veterinarian, he is now sent into full retirement. Unfortunately, to the muscle now also the air has come in connection with the asthma. Since almost 14 days he has to fight clearly more than still the last years. He is currently receiving medication including cortisone. This has now led to the fact that he must be kept "dust-free" from now on. He now stands on linen straw and gets haylage. In addition, we inhale him. Hay and straw are from now on a taboo for him, which has led me to the decision to place him in a place where he can still enjoy his time with good conditions for his air. Unfortunately I do not have the possibilities to give the conditions so important for him. Out of selfishness on my part to leave him here so that he continues to be with me, I do not want to and cannot. There is absolutely no time pressure, I just wish that somewhere there is THE place for him. Unfortunately, he is not the easiest in the herd just when it comes to mares, Amun needs a stable herd with a "boss" who creates clear conditions without becoming angry, that is biting, beating ect. Amun is a very nice horse to handle. He quickly trusts people who mean well with him. He is not angry with people or other animals. He knows children of all ages as well as dogs and all the equipment around the farm. Nevertheless, he is and remains a horse which of course also gets scared sometimes. As described above, he is no longer rideable, but small excursions at a walk in hand are possible depending on the daily form. It applies absolutely place before price I would be very happy on this way to find his final place and look forward to serious messages.
