More control for your hay steamer!
With the Steam Control, you have many features at your fingertips to make steaming your hay even easier and more effective.
And best of all: the automatic switch-off ensures that you no longer have to worry about switching it off.
Simply combine the temperature control with your hay steamer to steam the hay easily and conveniently. This allows you to spend more time with your horse. With the XL control, you have a reliable and efficient solution for healthy feeding of your horse.
The advantages of the XL control unit are unmistakable:
If your old stable installation is heavily loaded but a CEE socket is available, the Steam Control XL is the perfect temperature control for you.
It is connected to the CEE socket and therefore does not place a load on the surrounding 230V barn installation.
However, professional installation in the barn is a prerequisite.
In addition, up to two steam generators can be connected to achieve faster and more consistent steaming results.
Once the temperature has been reached, the control unit remains in operation for another 20 minutes and the temperature in the hay container can be conveniently read on the display.
One of the outstanding features of the XL is its automatic switch-off function. As soon as the hay is fully steamed, the control unit and hay steamer switch off automatically to save energy. This allows you to keep an eye on everything and save energy at the same time.
Installation options for the temperature control.
For test purposes, you can place the sensor of our temperature control unit loosely in the hay for a short time. You should then proceed according to the operating instructions.
If you have a thermometer installed in your hay steamer, you can remove it if necessary and install the sensor instead of the thermometer.
You have the option of either placing the control unit directly on the lid or mounting it on the side/lid. You can choose between a bracket or feet, depending on whether you want to install the control unit or prefer to stand it upright.
Drill a small hole in your hay steamer for your desired location and install the sensor using the PG screw fitting supplied by us.
Once the sensor has been installed, the point is sealed and no steam escapes.
You can connect up to 2 steam generators with a maximum output of 2x3500W.
