The mono-blade allows a fine adjustment of the aids, so that the saddle is suitable for young horses, who are just learning to react to the rider's leg, as well as for rather blunted horses, because the aid reaches the horse immediately and clearly. I bought the saddle myself used and only used it for breaking in a small horse.
