6 year old small german sport horse - Qubidu is a friendly, curious horse who is looking for "his" human. He is a horse for a person with whom he is the center of attention. He needs to be handled in a strict yet affectionate manner to get him on his side quickly. Leading in the field is rather difficult at the moment, as he "tries" a lot. Riding out, as soon as someone sits on him and shows him the way, he goes everywhere. He's not a bucker and climber. Unfortunately, he doesn't feel comfortable in my open stable as he tends to rank high and my other gelding won't let him pass. I think a box with/without a run is the better choice for him.
He loves natural obstacles and has enough "go" there, for dressage work you have to motivate him, but then he walks nicely on the reins.
I bought him in Germany when he was 4.5 years old and then used him for some time for guided children's riding, which he did really well. Unfortunately, we found out in summer 23 that he had navicular disease. X-rays showed that the disease was not very advanced and that he could cope well with it. As a result, he was given a navicular shoe (simple with a wedge) and his hoof joints were treated once. Since then, he has been absolutely pain-free and moves very well. I am not giving him away because he has the navicular condition, but because he now has much more energy and is no longer suitable for my children's riding business.
Due to the findings, he is to be sold below value. VHB price is 7000 Fr, many accessories can be included!
