Horseback riding - Hello,
I have a horse for 1-2 times a week. He is enthusiastic about work in the arena (primarily dressage) as well as cross-country riding.
He is very nice to handle, but not a children's horse/beginner's horse, as he needs precise instructions and takes advantage of riders who are not able to ride him and needs to be safe on the aids. An E level is required.
The yard is located in the outskirts of Gronau. There is a riding arena and an indoor riding arena at the yard.
He has equipment for dressage work and cross-country riding (eventing saddle with safety stirrups, reflective gaiters, riding blankets etc.).
It would also be possible to take part in riding lessons with him on site.
I expect you to be able to look after the horse independently, both when riding and in other ways with the animal. You are expected to treat the animal and the equipment with respect. As you will often be alone at the stables, I should be able to rely on you to manage everything on your own.
He also goes out on his own. For riding alone, however, I would require cross-country experience (preferably with a cross-country pass, but not a must).
Of course, he is also covered by liability insurance with you as his rider.
Purzel has competition experience, but unfortunately he is no longer easy to load. He is therefore being offered as a leisure horse for the time being.
It would be great if you could relieve me on Saturdays because I sometimes have to work at the weekend.
