Irish Sport Horse mare - Unfortunately, I have to sell our mare with a heavy heart due to personal reasons and, above all, time constraints.
She came to us in December 2022. Before that, she had probably stood in the pasture for 6 years. Before that, she had been ridden on a farm. Unfortunately, I couldn't find out her exact level of training because I couldn't get the contact details of the owner who rode her. So we had to see for ourselves. She is not currently in training as I simply don't have the time. However, she has of course been ridden with us and is very fine.
She has a lot of go in the field and wants to use every little puddle as a jump (this is probably due to her breed). She is very willing to learn and with enough time you can achieve a lot with her.
Once she has gained confidence, she goes through thick and thin with you and is a wonderful creature with a great character.
She was sold to me with a back condition which was not diagnosed by the previous owner. It was ruled out by hand by 3 vets. We didn't have an x-ray taken as she didn't show any signs of a condition and the exclusion was enough for me. We regularly visit the chiropractor, which she needs, as her hips are a little crooked. She goes barehoof and our hoof trimmer compensates for the crookedness very well when working on her. She will be 18 years old in May, but you wouldn't know it by looking at her.
We are in possession of Irish papers.
Our wonderful mouse will only be sold to absolutely good hands and only as a pure leisure horse!!! Everything only with a protection contract and prior assessment of the future home. Gladly also as a side-liner in an open stable. This is NOT a distress sale and we will carefully consider in whose hands she will go!!!
Please only contact me if you are seriously interested, I don't have time for anything else!
