Niedersüss dressage saddle - High quality dressage saddle from Austria by Niedersüss. The saddle has a semi-deep seat and medium knee rolls, it is approx. 20 years old, has been used with pleasure but also regularly padded and well cared for.
The saddle has been fitted with long girth straps by a saddler so that short girths can be used.
It was specified as a 17.5 inch seat size when we bought it second-hand some time ago, but the seat is smaller, more like 17 or 16.5 inches. (Max. trouser size ladies 40, men 48) The length from the pommel to the cantle is 42.5 cm.
The gullet width is 32 cm, measured from the ends of the gullet plate. The gullet plate ends approx. 1 cm below the poll, as a guide.
The condition of the saddle is good to very good for its age, the seat has a few creases but is still very soft and comfortable and there are no cracks. There are slight signs of abrasion on the saddle flap and the lower seams on the inner saddle flap are open, but this does not restrict the function of the saddle.
The panels are softly padded and the saddle can be used immediately. It was freshly greased before being sold.
