Pretty Sport Andalusian - It is with a heavy heart that we are selling our 6-year-old Andalusian gelding Calimero and are looking for a loving home for him. Calimero is a people-oriented horse who is very eager to learn and already does a lot of great things for his age. At 163 cm tall, he has a youthful stature and shows great potential. He has been broken in and loves outdoor, in-hand and ground work, but still needs further training and support to develop fully.
Calimero is motivated when ridden and always tries to do everything right. He can sometimes become a little restless because he wants to please his rider. Clear, calm signals and a clearly defined rhythm help him to orientate himself and relax. If he understands that nothing is being asked of him at the moment, he can switch off easily and quickly calm down.
Calimero is reliable in the field, whether alone or in a group, and is confident at all gaits. Even road traffic, tractors and contact with dogs and cows do not upset him. He remains calm during fright training with umbrellas, foils or cloths. With a calm companion, he also masters away training or courses without any problems.
Calimero's behavior at the farrier's is exemplary and he is currently shod on all hooves. He was recently treated by an osteopath who gave valuable tips for his further development - we are happy to pass these on to his new owners.
Calimero currently lives in a paddock box at night and spends his days in a pasture with 8-10 other geldings. He fits in well with the herd and is in the middle ranking range.
We are looking for people with experience of horses to give Calimero security with clear, calm signals and help him to continue to grow.
