Vaquero saddle DAKAR, lots of spinal freedom, for short backs - I am selling my vaquero/hiking saddle for short backs in very good condition. It is the DAKAR model from Way Out West and Sommer (formerly Marrakesch Vaquero). I no longer use it and it's too good to "hang around".
The saddle was produced in June 2019 with custom-made Juchten leather, trekking pro panels and hallmarks. The saddle was created in a collaboration between Sommersattel and Way out West: The large contact surface makes it an ideal cross-country saddle, which can also be used well in the riding arena due to the special saddle flap shape.
It was mounted on my athletic Haflinger mare (149 cm) and is also suitable for short backs. The saddle has slight signs of wear, but is in very good overall condition (the padding may not even have completely settled). The gullet plate can be adjusted by any saddler (current gullet width: 31.5).
The saddle is made of Juchten leather in the color mocha (brown) with brass fittings. It has rings for attaching pieces of luggage or similar. The saddle will be handed over including the corresponding fenders and stirrups, matching baroque stirrups with matching mono stirrup leathers can be included on request.
